Note

On writing in public

Notes are drafts with witnesses. A rough thought on why publishing early beats polishing forever.

This is a note — a rough, evolving thought. It may change or disappear.

A note, not an essay: publishing a rough idea early gets you correction; polishing it in private only gets you attachment to being wrong.

Notes on this site are exactly that — unfinished thoughts, visually marked as such. They may grow into articles. They may quietly disappear. That is the point.
